Louise Bishop
Operations Manager
Zinfra is proud to highlight the work of one of our own Louise Bishop, Operations Manager for our Victoria Business Unit who has been featured in the May-July 2025 edition of Energy Source & Distribution Magazine.
With more than two decades in the energy sector, Louise’s journey hasn’t followed the most traditional path, and that’s part of what makes her story so interesting. She started in marketing, never expecting to move into infrastructure, but quickly found herself drawn to the challenge of managing major projects. Today, she plays a central role in helping deliver some of Zinfra’s largest and most technically complex energy connections.
In the article, Louise reflects on what keeps her motivated, working with great people, solving big problems, and contributing to the transition to cleaner energy. For her, seeing renewable energy projects come to life and helping connect them to the Victorian grid is especially rewarding.
“These projects are going to be a big part of how we power communities into the future,” she says. “It feels good to be part of something that matters.”
Louise was also recently named one of Spencer-Ogden’s Top 100 Brilliant Women in Renewable Energy. It’s a milestone she doesn’t take lightly and one she hopes inspires other women to explore careers in energy and infrastructure.
“I want to get to a point where it’s not unusual to see more women than men on a project team. The talent is out there; it’s about creating the right environment for it to thrive.”
Outside of work, Louise keeps busy supporting initiatives that further female participation. Primarily volunteering for and promoting the work that Dress for Success undertakes Nationally to support financial independence for females.
Zinfra is proud to work with people like Louise leaders who bring skill, care, and integrity to every project, and who quietly help drive big change behind the scenes.
