Zinfra is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2025 Gala Awards Event held by Empowered Women in Trades (EWIT) in line with our commitment to building a more inclusive and diverse workforce.

The EWIT are champions of tradeswomen, diversity and gender equality with a mission to empower women and non-binary people in skilled trades, and fostering a culture of inclusivity.

During the EWIT Gala Awards 2025, to be held at Marvel Stadium on Friday 3rd October industry leaders, tradie trailblazers and emerging talents will come together to celebrate and champion the future of trades in Australia.

Of the new partnership Zinfra Managing Director, Peter Iancov said, “We are proud to join EWIT as part of our commitment in building a diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate that will have the skills to support Australia’s future energy transition.”

Proudly, over the past two years, we’ve doubled the number of female Apprentices and Trainees across our programs, with 30% of applications received for the 2026 Apprentice and Trainee intake received from women.
You can read the stories of Morgan and Hayli, two of our current female apprentices building meaningful careers in energy.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands upon which we operate and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
