Zinfra Management of COVID-19

At Zinfra, safety is our number one priority and that includes the safety of our people, partners, contractors and the community.   This letter is to advise you that Zinfra has established appropriate protocols in response to the COVID19 Pandemic.

Our enacted plans are consistent with the Australian Government’s National Response Plan for COVID-19, and the Department of Health “Information for Employers” guidance to best satisfy our customer’s expectations whilst ensuring specific operational requirements are delivered.

Key measures that have been implemented include:

  • Business Continuity Plan – Our BCP has been activated and we are focussed on ensuring our critical processes continue to operate effectively in the face of this disruption.

  • COVID-19 Pandemic Response Plan – We have developed and implemented a bespoke Pandemic Response Plan which governs and guides our operations. This includes:

    • COVID-19 Exposure Notification – implementation of a notification system to ensure the identification, tracking and management of any confirmed or suspected exposure;

    • External business-related events - Any large scheduled external events have been cancelled and/or arrangements made to participate remotely. This will be reviewed fortnightly and in line with the current travel restrictions;

    • Business travel - All international business has been suspended and only essential domestic business travel is considered;

    • All Visitors to ALL sites - Only essential visitors are allowed onto sites and are required to complete a Visitor Declaration Form. Contractors engaged by Zinfra are  required to complete a Contractor Declaration Form;

    • Field customer interaction protocols - Protocols introduced for field team members (employees and contractors) attending a customer that is in self-isolation;

    • Control Room - Due to the critical role that our Control Rooms provide to ensure the delivery of essential services to our customers, we have restricted access to minimise any exposure to COVID-19;

    • Support for Employees – We have established a COVID-19 Intranet page to provide our people with the most up to date source of information and improved structures to support employees, family and household members when sick and in self-isolation.

We will continue to work in partnership with you and keep you updated on our efforts.

Kind regards,

Peter Iancov
Managing Director
