Zinfra crew on West Gate Tunnel Project

Check out the time lapse video of Zinfra crew lifting into position a section of a monopole as part of the major power utility relocation work on the West Gate Tunnel Project. The newly erected monopoles are an alternative structure to traditional lattice towers and hold critical 220kV power transmission lines. The new poles being installed reach a height of 58 metres when fully assembled, some of the largest constructed poles in AusNet’s network.
