Zinfra Celebrates Diwali 2023

It was fantastic to see our teams enthusiastically embrace Diwali 2023 celebrations last week across our Sydney, Greystanes and Melbourne offices which saw 300+ of our people attend in person plus several who joined online.

Diwali is an important and vibrant annual Festival originating in India and enjoyed by people across the world. Celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and some Buddhists, Diwali means 'rows of lights' in Sanskrit and symbolises the victory of good over evil, light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance.

We marked this occasion with beautiful ethnic decorations, colourful costumes, cultural performances, delicious food and special messages from our leaders and Diwali committee members. It was great to see a number of team members sporting traditional Indian attire including members of our Leadership Team.

A big thank you to everyone involved in planning the Diwali festivities this year! We are proud to continue to build a workplace where we embrace multiculturalism and celebrate diversity in many wonderful ways.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands upon which we operate and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
