AUSSEF is a national showcase of innovation, where Australia’s brightest young minds present innovative projects that tackle real-world challenges. Each year, a group of standout students are selected to represent Australia at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). This year it’s held in May in Ohio, USA.
Our support is proudly funding one of the national finalists, 16-year-old Lily Rofail, who is now headed to ISEF to compete on the global stage. Lily, a student at PLC Sydney, recently showcased her project to a crowd of peers, supporters and media. Her research , “Can shark-denticle-inspired vortex generators reduce aerodynamic drag in heavy vehicles?” explores engineering solutions that align with Zinfra’s work in reducing carbon emissions across our heavy transport fleet.
Supporting programs like AUSSEF is more than a sponsorship for us. It’s an investment in curiosity and critical thinking skills that will power tomorrow’s leaders. We’re proud to stand behind Lily and the other finalists as they take their ideas to the world stage.
