Among the highlights was Group Managing Director, David Gillespie, who provided valuable insights into the complexities of managing gas and electricity infrastructure assets across multiple states influenced by shifting government policies.
Additionally, discussions on sustainable energy included the introduction of biomethane to the Australian market, featuring Zinfra’s construction of the Malabar Biomethane Injection Plant as a pioneering project. As we continue to navigate the energy transition, Zinfra is continuing to evolve, innovate and adapt as was evident in the new energy solutions discussion, which offered a comprehensive overview of the Port Kembla Metering Station and pipeline.
In line with our Group’s dedication to diversity, we celebrated the opportunity to showcase both our young and female team members who contributed their expertise to two panels. The young pipeliners panellists engaged in discussions on the advancement of digital isolation and shared valuable insights on the diverse perspectives surrounding work-life balance, while the leadership panel highlighted the importance of investing in women’s leadership development as seen at Zinfra.
With a dedicated focus on striving to improve the way we do business, the APGA event saw our people share their experience and expertise as we commit to driving innovation that empowers our clients and communities and we couldn’t be prouder!
