Zinfra field-crew are asking the community to “Give us a Wave” when they see them working on electricity and gas infrastructure during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The tagline –“Give us a Wave”  forms the basis of a new campaign, designed to raise awareness about the important role Zinfra and other companies play in maintaining electricity and gas infrastructure.

Zinfra’s Managing Director, Peter Iancov said the campaign highlights the work of its field-crew: “our people adapted quickly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, changing how they work to protect their own health and that of the community, so they can continue to perform essential maintenance which keeps the lights – and Netflix – on and the gas flowing.”

“We’re asking the community to support our field-crew in the same way they have supported other essential service workers; by giving us space to do our jobs safely and a friendly wave.”

The campaign will run for two weeks across social and other media channels.

The campaign is in keeping with a similar campaign run by AusGrid: one of Zinfra’s customers in New South Wales as well as Energy Networks Australia (ENA).
