We have some fantastic opportunities available and we are currently accepting applications from New Zealand, UK, Canada, Philippines and South Africa.

What we’re looking for:

Civil Project Engineers:

  • Ideally with experience working on complex infrastructure projects

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil engineering

  • Can come from electrical infrastructure, rail, water, mining or roads

  • Must come from a contractor not client side or consultancy.

Electrical project engineers:

  • Must have tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering

  • Exposure to working on complex green and brownfields projects

  • Ideally with exposure to either substations or transmission lines projects

  • Must come from a contractor and have worked directly on the delivery of projects.

Construction Manager/Site Manager

  • Ideally again tertiary qualification in engineering

  • Exposure to green and brownfields HV (132kV+) infrastructure projects. Can come from civil or electrical backgrounds but prefer experience in both

  • Must come from a contractor and have worked directly on the delivery of projects.

All of these roles will have a roster schedule.

  • 11/3 - 11 days on 3 days off with the appointed person being eligible for a 25% uplift on their pay while on site away from home

  • 3/1 3 weeks on 1 week off again with site based uplifts while working on site away from home

  • Travel allowances payable when working away from home.

The support you can receive for relocating

  • Skilled candidates may be eligible for a Temporary Skill Shortage Visa

    • This visa allows skilled workers and their immediate family to be sponsored on a 2-year, or 4-year visa in Australia.

  • Return flights for all parties sponsored.

Best in class relocation assistance:

  • Relocation assistance for rental accommodation (one month accommodation on arrival)

  • Assistance for finding long term accommodation & local schools

  • Up to AUD 10,000 in reimbursement, including a relocation provider

Our process

Visa sponsorship information

UK passport applicants

Once the interview process has been completed and the offer is accepted, we then start the visa sponsorship process

Non UK passport holders

For non UK passport holders there is a 30 day waiting period for the completion of Labour Market Testing,

Once your visa is approved (for UK passport holders or non UK passport holders) and you have reached the step of being sponsored, we will then pass on your details to our sponsorship partners at Global Mobility Solutions | Vialto Partners who will then gather all the required documentation to finalise this step.
