  • Salary Sacrifice: you can salary sacrifice towards your superannuation, a novated
    lease or eligible relocation costs

Career and recognition

Different levels; local - variable, business unit - $200, Group wide - $2,000. Annual Group Award - $10,000

  • Employee referral program: if you refer a successfully placed candidate to us, we’ll reward you for your efforts (currently $5,000 after 6 months)

  • Service awards: our employees receive awards for their long service (every 5 years service is recognised)

  • Education assistance: we provide financial and leave assistance for approved external education courses.

Some key features of our parental leave policy include:

  • Gender neutral parental leave policy to suit all family types offering equitable parental leave for parents.

  • No minimum service eligibility requirement to access Paid Parental Leave / Primary Carers Leave for Permanent employees;

  • Fourteen weeks paid parental leave for the primary carer or 28 weeks at half pay.

  • Two weeks partner leave at the time of birth/adoption/legal guardianship as well as up to five days of personal leave entitlement;

  • Primary carers leave can be taken in “the first twenty-four (24) months” following birth/adoption/legal guardianship

  • Employer superannuation contributions continue during unpaid components of Parental leave. Maximum benefit is twelve months – including all leave taken during Parental leave absence.

Health and fitness

  • Health insurance: either through Medibank or CBHS: at different times different
    offers are made.

  • Gym membership: get a discount on membership with our agreed provider, as well

  • Flu Vaccinations: we offer free flu vaccinations in time for winter

  • Eye health program: different offers through Sunglass Hut or Specsavers

  • Employee Assistance Program: Access free and confidential counselling and support
    services.

Our Community

  • Volunteering Leave: Apply for a full day or two half days of paid leave per annum for supported volunteering.

  • Giving back programs: Apply for a range of community programs that offer donations to causes that our people regularly volunteer with or support outside of work, including $1,000 donations for Emergency Service volunteers.
