Zinfra raises $8,656 for The Smith Family

Zinfra’s #seasonofgiving continues this week, with team members from across Australia coming together to support a very special end-of-year giving program for our friends at The Smith Family. With growing cost of living pressures making times tough for many families, especially over the holiday period, the team hosted a month-long fundraiser - with every dollar donated by team members as part of The Smith Family Christmas Toy & Book Appeal matched by the business, totalling $over 8,500.

As a national children’s education charity, The Smith Family works with children and young people to empower them to harness education and unlock their true potential. With 1.2 million young Australians growing up in poverty, every dollar donated through efforts like this can help children overcome educational inequality caused by poverty – so they can thrive now and into their futures. “By supporting the important work of The Smith Family we hope to help make the lives of some deserving Australian families a little brighter this Christmas. It feels great to be part of a business who really stands behind their values and cares for their local communities,” said Peter Iancov, Zinfra Managing Director.
