Rescuing a furry friend

Not all heroes wear capes!

We were glad and relieved to be able to rescue a furry friend (who forgot their harness) from a transmission tower on the Tarrone to Heywood 500kV transmission line in Victoria.

The koala managed to climb from a tree to the tower structure and got almost half way up before our team directed our furry friend down the structure.

Although this took some time, we had safety first at top of mind, and eventually got the koala down safely and back to its tree home.

A big thank you to the Zinfra Projects and Infrastructure (Transmissions Line) team for rescuing this precious creature and keeping everyone safe at the same time.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands upon which we operate and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
