Zinfra’s Executive General Manager of People, Safety & Governance, Craig Ypinazar, said that Zinfra offers graduates the potential to build their careers, while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

“At Zinfra, we don’t just invest in projects, we invest in you. Our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and your professional growth is why we were recognised as one of the Top 100 Graduate Employers in 2024.

“Our two-year development program is designed to develop talented individuals working in electrical, Projects/Construction and Electrical Estimation.

“As part of our graduate program, you’ll work with experienced professionals who will guide you through a mix of practical work and structured learning, all designed to amplify your skills in communication, business, and leadership. You won’t be just starting a job; you will commence a career with purpose,” he said.

Alex Batir completed our graduate program in 2023, working as a Project Engineer in our Project Delivery team. His advice to anyone considering applying for Zinfra’s graduate program would be just to apply and go for it.

“During my graduate program, I was lucky enough to have ownership of a project in the metering and service function, where I managed the day to day activities, had responsibility to make decisions and liaise with field crews, and develop critical thinking and planning skills,” he said. Another highlight for Alex has been getting amongst the field work and field crews in the electricity function where he’s been able to be ‘on site’ and get hands on experience. Alex said, “from pole removals/installations to underground connections, the hands on experience offers a different perspective to the work done in the office and helps to solidify your knowledge”

Applications for the Group 2024 graduate program opened on Monday 11 March 2024 and will close on [insert date]. Successful applicants will commence in February 2025.
