Jemena Group COVID-19 Response

Current as of 12 March 2020

To our valued customers and business partners,

I am writing to provide you with advice on the Jemena Group’s (comprised of Jemena and Zinfra) response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Jemena Group has a strong focus on business continuity planning and crisis management, and we regularly exercise these plans taking an all hazards approach. We are confident that suitable contingencies are available for our critical business functions and that these can be deployed as required.

Internally, we have established a COVID-19 Response Taskforce which has been charged with monitoring the situation and determining the business’ response to the pandemic taking into account government and other relevant advice.

We recognise we have a role to play in minimising the potential spread of COVID-19 and have taken steps to limit the exposure of our people and the broader community to the virus. In keeping with this, we have implemented a number of infection control procedures which we are regularly communicating with our people.

This is an ongoing and dynamic situation, and we will continue to comply with all guidelines provided by governments in the jurisdictions where we operate.

We have also informed our people that if they do experience any flu like symptoms, such as those indicated by the relevant Health Authorities, that they are to immediately self-isolate and contact the relevant state-based emergency contact numbers and their immediate manager.

Should you have any questions, please email: COVIDResponseTeam@jemena.com.au.
