Extension on the Field Services Agreement for Tasmanian Gas Pipeline

We’re delighted to announce that the Zinfra Gas Transmission Team has achieved an extension of the Field Services Agreement (FSA) for the Tasmanian Gas Pipeline (TGP). The extension is for a further three years commencing 1 July 2023 with a further 3 year option that has also been added to the agreement. The FSA covers operations and maintenance, minor construction and emergency response of the TGP, servicing both Tasmania and Victoria.

The Palisade Integrated Management Services (PIMS) team has worked closely with Zinfra since 2011, when Palisade Investment Partners purchased the TGP. Zinfra team members have been servicing the TGP for over 20 years, with eleven team members executing the field services contract moving forward.

Through regular demonstration of a strong work ethic, safety first principles, innovation and a pro-active reporting culture, the Zinfra and PIMS team have become trusted partners to each other and work as one cohesive team. The teams strong safety culture is reflected in the achievement of the significant milestone of 20 years LTI (Lost Time Injury) free in August 2022. The field team also actively supports PIMS/TGPs  ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) programs, supporting local communities throughout the state as well as driving various environmental initiatives.

Congratulations to all involved in this landmark occasion.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands upon which we operate and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
