Acting Managing Director – Louren Edwards

Louren Edwards is a finance and business leader with strategic and operational experience in the infrastructure services and energy sectors.

Louren has more than 15 years’ experience in finance roles across a number of industries, with a proven background of managing complex and dynamic financial operations within large corporate environments.

Louren joined Jemena in 2006 and has held a variety of roles during that time, including Commercial Projects Manager in the Asset Management business and Group Manager Finance Reporting in the Corporate Finance team. Prior to joining Zinfra Group as CFO, Louren was the General Manager Finance, Jemena Infrastructure Services. Louren has also held senior finance roles in companies including Epic Energy and Burswood Entertainment Complex.     

Louren holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Edith Cowan University, and is also a member of CPA Australia.

 

 

Acting Chief Financial Officer – James Quigley

James Quigley is a results-orientated finance executive with extensive experience and financial acumen acquired across businesses in a diverse range of industries including distribution, transport, logistics, sales, media, utilities and operations.

James has more than 19 years’ experience in finance roles, with a proven background of meeting and exceeding expectations, as well as managing large corporate and business unit finance teams. James initially worked in chartered accounting before moving across to Powercor where he spent 6 years in a variety of finance positions. He worked with ANZ in 2002 before being appointed Financial Controller at Roadshow Films (a division of Village Roadshow). During his 5 years with the business James also spent 2 years in Sydney for Roadshow Entertainment as General Manager, Finance and Operations. He was responsible for the delivery a state of art DVD distribution facility using high-tech pick-to-light and pick-to-voice technology.

Prior to joining Zinfra Group as Financial Controller in 2011, James held the same position at Victoria’s largest electricity distribution business, CitiPower/Powercor for 3 years. James holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT University, and is also a member of CPA Australia.

 

 

General Manager, Legal and Commercial Services – Sally Rogers

Sally Rogers has over 10 years construction, projects, corporate and commercial law experience.  Prior to her appointment in 2012, Sally held senior legal roles within the Jemena Infrastructure Services business providing practical and strategic legal advice across the full spectrum of activities undertaken by that business, including pre-contract advice and negotiation, procurement, early dispute resolution and legal compliance. 

Internationally, Sally has worked in the United Kingdom at the law firm Hammonds where she specialised in providing front-end major projects and construction advice to a wide range of clients (predominantly contractors).  Sally has particular expertise in project structuring and front end negotiations under a wide range of procurement models including NEC3, JCT and NHSPFI. Sally also worked in-house at ALSTOM Transport UK and understands the commercial, practical and legal challenges of project delivery.

In Australia, Sally has been a senior lawyer with Minter Ellison Construction and Infrastructure Group in Perth where she specialised in providing front end construction advice to mining and civil works contractors.   Sally also worked in the Brisbane office of Minter Ellison providing corporate and commercial advice to a wide range of clients. Prior to Minter Ellison, Sally was Legal and Business Affairs Manager and Company Secretary for a TV Production Company in Queensland.  

Sally is admitted to the NSW Supreme Court, the WA Supreme Court and the QLD Supreme Court and is also eligible for admission in the United Kingdom and Wales.  Sally holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) / Arts from University of Sydney and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Society of Construction Law (Australia).

 

 

 

General Manager, People, Safety and Communications – Leanne Beveridge

Leanne is a Human Resource leader with strategic and operational experience in the energy and resources, fast moving consumer goods and agribusiness sectors.

With a strong business focus in driving leading solutions, process change and organisational growth,  Leanne has also delivered quality processes, strategic change and engagement initiatives.

Leanne has a history working in industrial environments for companies including Lumo Energy, Sara Lee, Unilever and Coles Myer. Leanne has also held the position of Director, BMC Australasia.

Prior to joining Zinfra Group, Leanne was Executive General Manager, People and Performance at Lumo Energy.

General Manager, Engineering and Major Projects – Mario Bavaro

Mario has over 25 years experience in energy utilities and related industries, starting his career as a Cadet Engineer with the then NSW Electricity Commission. 

Mario is a business manager with broad experience in senior and high accountability roles. He has held a number of diverse management positions, with experience ranging from business development to project directorship and management of utility infrastructure construction and service contracts for clients, including accountability for business profit and loss. Mario also has considerable supporting experience in commercial management, financial and business analysis and operations management.

 

 

General Manager, Network Services (VIC) –  Kevin McGrath

Kevin has over 25 years in senior construction, asset management and critical infrastructure project delivery. Kevin’s experience consists of operational and general management roles with experience relating to commercial, business development, operational and business management in the energy and infrastructure markets.

Kevin has diverse, global engineering experience.  He commenced as a Project Engineer at National Grid and thereafter Construction Director for AMEC Power and Operations Manager for 24/7 (formerly TXU/London Electricity).  In New Zealand, Kevin was a Senior Consultant at BECA, Divisional Manager / General Manager at Siemens Energy Services and General Manager at Energex NZ.

Moving to Australia, Kevin was the Energy Division Operating Officer at Energex accountable for the day-to-day operational outcomes, including 2,500 staff. Kevin was the first point of contact for all operational aspects for the delivery of the Program of Work.

General Manager, Northern Contracting (QLD/NT/WA) – Mark Crowle

Mark has extensive leadership experience in engineering consultancy and construction.  His most recent role was at UGL Infrastructure in the role of EGM – Major Projects working on Power Station, LNG, Rail and General Construction Projects. Previous to UGL, Mark worked in Transfield Services across the Water sector and in Downer Engineering Power and Downer Construction in Australia and New Zealand.

As General Manager of Zinfra Northern Contracting business, Mark has full accountability for business development, commercial and operational aspects of the Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia operations.  This includes the management of over 200 staff.

   

 

General Manager, Central Contracting (NSW) – Warwick Hood

Warwick has more than 30 years of technical, commercial and management experience in the resources, infrastructure and heavy industries. 

Warwick started out as an electrical mechanic working on industrial control and process systems. He has managed his own business and worked in key leadership roles in business development for electrical mechanical services delivery in Vietnam and Hong Kong.  He has worked in balance-of-plant engineering and contractual management for infrastructure projects and multi services systems.

Warwick has industry experience as an Executive Manager in the mechanical and electrical engineering and contracting businesses. He has worked for Logica Australia, Powerserve and OPAC Services.

Warwick was formerly Operations Manager Infrastructure for NSW/ACT and VIC at Tenix. 

 

 

 

General Manager, Southern Contracting (VIC/TAS/SA) – Mark Gould

Mark has more than 20 years’ Executive Management experience in the manufacturing and electrical contracting industries.  He has worked in a number of companies in New Zealand and Australia in Engineering, Product Development and General Management focusing on business improvement and expansion.

Mark’s previous roles include National Manager, Electrical Operation for Alinta, General Manager Electrical for NPS, General Manager Diecraft Australia and National Manufacturing Manager for Marley Plastics.

 

 

General Manager, Network Services (NSW/ACT) – Richard Blagrove

Richard Blagrove has extensive industry experience in utilities, energy and water sectors and adjacent markets.  His work history includes gas operations and construction and more recently in business and commercial roles.

Richard was recently appointed to the position of Gas Services Manager NSW/ACT. He has many years experience with the gas industry with a strong focus having worked in the NSW region. He has worked in numerous roles at Jemena as National Sector Development Manager Gas & Water sales and National Business Development Manager. He has also worked for Wesfarmers Kleenheat Gas, Agility and AGL.

Richard previously filled the position of National Business Development Manager where he led a team of Sales and Business Development professionals in the pursuit of Energy Infrastructure opportunities.
